The Housing Access team provides valuable support to vulnerable community members who currently experience - or are at risk of - homelessness.
MASP is seeking to fill two full-time ongoing positions.
Job Description
The Housing Access Support Worker will manage a caseload of clients who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, to meet their identified needs and goals.
They will also develop local networks and partnerships within the sector to ensure appropriate supports and referrals are put in place to achieve positive outcomes for individuals and families within our community.
Expected commencing salary of $78,675.99 per annum (dependent on qualifications) plus statutory superannuation. Because MASP is a non-profit organisation, you also have the option to maximise your income through salary packaging.

Desired Skills and Experience
Essential role-specific skills, knowledge and experience
* Possession of the mandatory qualification (or actively studying towards the qualification).
* Ability to deliver effective client-centered case management practices.
* Demonstrated experience working with young people, single adults, and/or families experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
* Ability to engage clients with complex needs and from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to liaise with and make referrals to other government and non-government agencies and services.
* Effective organisation and time management skills.
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
