Primary Purpose of Role
* Provide support and assistance to the daily operational requirements and administration of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Program, which includes:
* Facilitate referrals to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and collaborate on critical incident responses,
* Assist in facilitating the Stress Prevention and Management Program (SPAM) and the SPAM Helpline, available 24/7 for emergency services volunteers, staff, and their families,
* Deliver and assist in developing evidence-based training packages relevant to mental health and wellbeing, focusing on areas such as child, youth, and families of frontline volunteers, enhancing mental health literacy, and implementing suicide prevention strategies for leaders and the peer support officer program, for both online and face-to-face delivery.
Essential Qualifications
* Qualifications in mental health, delivery of training, or related fields are desirable.
Remuneration: ASO5
$85,790 - $95,413
