Nurse Midwife Leader - Safety, Quality and Risk
Job Overview:
Women's & Babies Division seeks an experienced Registered Nurse and/or Midwife to lead our Safety, Quality and Risk Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards;
* Maintain continuous accreditation readiness;
* Develop and implement risk management frameworks;
* Lead quality improvement initiatives;
* Provide expert advice on clinical governance and risk management.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Registered Nurse and/or Midwife qualification or eligibility for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
* Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in relevant nursing or midwifery practice;
* Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills;
* Solid knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement systems, accreditation standards, and risk management frameworks;
* In-depth understanding of relevant legislation, professional standards, and current issues in nursing/midwifery and healthcare delivery.
