Benchmark Monitoring provides specialist real time Environmental Monitoring services to the mining, power generation and government sectors. We currently have a position available in our Perth office for an Environmental Field Technician.
As an Environmental Field Technician, you will be responsible for the day to day operation, maintenance and calibration of air quality, noise, dust, meteorological, water and blast monitoring equipment currently managed by Benchmark Monitoring. You will be part of a small but dynamic team of specialists dedicated to providing the highest level of technical support to their clients.
Candidates with practical experience in operating and maintaining environmental monitoring networks will be highly regarded for this position.
Ideally you will possess knowledge and skills in the following areas:
* Quality systems - ISO9001 and ISO NATA)
* Mechanical and electrical/electronics aptitude
* Instrumentation service and maintenance
* Experience using the Microsoft Office suite.
We are seeking demonstrated ability to work in a team environment with the capacity to manage a workload and meet deadlines. You will require interpersonal, client liaison, and written / verbal communication skills. Qualifications as Electronics technician, trade background or Environmental Science are highly regarded. However other relevant technical and professional qualifications will be considered based on suitable experience. A current Australian drivers license is essential.

The position is primarily based at the Perth, however, will be required to travel to Pilbara region on a regular basis.
The salary package will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
