Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports clients to maintain their independence and wellbeing in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Assist with light domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Support clients with medication reminders and general health monitoring
* Escort clients to appointments, shopping, and community activities as required
* Report changes in client condition to care coordinators or registered nurses
* Maintain accurate documentation and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards
* Follow care plans and ensure safe manual handling practices at all times
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent (required)
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
* A genuine passion for caring and helping others
