Key responsibilities will include:
* Ensure all inputs into products comply with prevailing legislations and standards
* Assist procurement manager in managing supplier relationships
* Place Purchase orders based on requisitions
* Track orders and provide updates to the team
* Assist procurement manager in forecasting supply chain requirements and collaborate to ensure requirements are met
* Data entry into the company ERP system
* Review invoices against purchase orders in the ERP system
* Contribute to annual stocktake and manage regular stocktake procedures
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:
* Experience working within the fast moving consumer goods industry (min 1 year)
* Experience operationally working in a factory environment
* Sound problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail
* Relevant tertiary or secondary qualification
* Experience using an ERP system or relevant accounting system
