Nurse Next Door Canberra is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented part-time Admin and Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team.

What you'll be doing
As Admin and Finance Assistant at Nurse Next Door, you LOVE working with numbers and figuring out the story that they tell. Your passion for financial analytics and detailed record keeping will ensure the business is operating as efficiently as possible.
You are responsible for the day to day operations related to managing all bookkeeping related tasks to ensure the owner has access to accurate, reliable, timely financial data.
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing
* Ensure that all client & caregiver records are entered accurately into MYOB
* Basic data entry level experience with MYOB is required
* Generate budgets, invoices & process payments
* Prepare fortnightly and end of month reports
* You will manage the Aged Receivables and communicate with clients and Plan Managers regarding outstanding accounts.
* Participate in the successful execution of fortnightly payroll for 90+ caregivers and nurses.
* You are the face of the business in regards to payroll related queries from caregivers, such as payslip queries or providing certificates of employment
* Provide administrative support to the management team as needed
* Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
* Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the office
What we're looking for
* Excellent administrative and financial skills, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
* Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the team
* Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Knowledge of in-home care or healthcare industry experience would be an advantage
