Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Member Service Officer located in Hobart, TAS. We’re on the lookout for a superstar Member Service Officer to act as a one-to-one ambassador for the club.
An all-round legend, you have exceptional attention to detail, excellent spelling and grammar, comfort on the phone and you get a real buzz out of making people happy. Of course, it won’t hurt if you also happen to love whisky!
What you’ll actually do
* Member service, actioning emails, helpdesk requests, phone calls and questions with high Member satisfaction levels.
* Follow up new Membership enquiries by phone with monthly targets.
* Online order management and support – helping curate a tailored whisky experience to valuable Members.
* General website updates, loading content, updating Member data as requested.
* Community management, responding and engaging with our audience across multiple platforms.
* Continuous improvement of our processes, content systems to improve the day-to-day experience for Members.
* Supporting the events team both virtually and in person.
* Encourage new members to join, retain and win back old Members.
What you’ll bring to the Club
* Experience using Zendesk or similar helpdesk software.
* Experience in resolving high volumes of requests under time pressures with impeccable customer service.
* Experience with tailored shopping or retail experiences.
* A history of personalised account management communicated in person, on phone and via email.
* Proficient computer skills, knowledge and capability in Microsoft suite of products.
* Successful track record in outbound phone sales calls.
* Experience in whisky would be extremely advantageous, or exposure to liquor or food in a digital business.
* Ability to work self-sufficiently and in a team.
* Great at identifying and resolving problems.
* Great with the details, planning and time management.
* Nice to hang out with for eight hours a day.
