Builders Discount Warehouse is a well-established bathroom and kitchen renovation business who has been supplying the building and renovation industry for 20 years with three retail locations in South East QLD. We have a strong reputation built on quality products and reliable service with a large trade customer base — builders, renovators, plumbers, tilers and more. We're growing, and we need someone who already knows this world to help us grow with it. Looking for someone who is already familiar with the Gold Coast and its surrounding regions who has strong relationships in the industry.
This role is built for someone who knows the trade
* Retired or semi-retired builder
* Hardware or trade supplies background
* Building industry veteran
* Ready to step back from physical work but stay in the game
What you'll be doing
* Getting out on the road — visiting builders, trades and renovation professionals
* Building genuine long-term relationships, not just chasing one-off sales
* Opening new trade accounts and following through on quotes and projects
* Working closely with our in-store teams to bring new business through the door
What you bring
* Real knowledge of the building or renovation industry
* Existing relationships with builders and trades — this is the big one
* Self-motivation and the ability to manage your own time on the road
* Good communication skills and a reliable, professional approach
