We are actively seeking a dynamic Visual Merchandise Manager to lead our amazing Salt&Pepper team! About the role: The Visual Merchandise Manage r position is a blend of store based, and Head Office based located on St Kilda Rd. Reporting to the National Visual Merchandise & Sales Training Manager, this position is responsible for ensuring a high standard of merchandising presentation in our Salt&Pepper stores, and creating dynamic Visual Merchandise displays to be used in national VM guides. Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to: Lead and inspire a team of talented Visual Merchandising professionals across the Salt&Pepper retail store network, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence Own the development and execution of visually compelling displays and in-store experiences that reflect the Salt&Pepper brand identity and enhance customer engagement Design and roll out national VM guidelines, using office-based displays and mock-ups to guide in-store execution and seasonal campaigns Collaborate closely with the product, marketing, and retail teams to ensure a unified approach to promotions, product launches, and brand storytelling Implement and uphold VM presentation standards across all stores through regular store visits, audits, and detailed feedback Support new store openings, refurbishments, and relocations by planning and executing effective visual merchandising layouts and display strategies Review store setup photos and merchandising execution regularly, providing constructive feedback and identifying opportunities to drive conversion and maximise sales Deliver hands-on training and upskilling for store teams to empower them to maintain high VM standards independently Monitor and analyse the commercial impact of VM initiatives, leveraging sales data and customer feedback to optimise in-store layouts and display performance Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and innovations into the visual merchandising strategy to keep Salt&Pepper at the forefront of homewares retail About You: You’re a creative and strategic Visual Merchandising leader with a passion for storytelling through design and display You bring a minimum of 4–5 years’ experience in a multi-site visual merchandising role, ideally within the homewares, lifestyle, or fashion retail sector Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a collaborative leadership style that brings out the best in others Strong eye for detail with a deep understanding of how VM impacts customer experience and drives commercial outcomes Confident in developing VM guidelines and translating them into practical, engaging in-store execution across a diverse retail footprint Experienced in managing new store openings, store refits, and national campaign rollouts Flexible and willing to travel regularly across stores as needed Why Join Us: • Opportunity to work with a reputable and leading retailer • Be part of a collaborative and innovative team that values your expertise and input • Competitive salary and benefits package • Ongoing opportunities for professional development and growth • Join a growing business with expansion into America, Canada and Europe These full-time positions offers the opportunity for a passionate and Visual Merchandise Manager to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic planning team and environment and to help support and contribute towards the growth of Global Retail Brands.
