About
the role
We
have an opportunity for an ICT Business Partner to join our Regulation, Compliance
& IT team at the Office of the Registrar General (ORG)). Reporting to the Director,
Regulation & Compliance, the ICT Business Partner will join a friendly team
in a fast-paced environment.
The ICT Business Partner advises and assists ORG
to oversee technology matters in the land titles system, particularly as they
relate to the private operator of the NSW land titles registry and electronic
lodgment network operators (ELNOs). A key part of the ICT Business Partner's
role is to liaise closely with the Department of Customer Service ICT and
Cybersecurity teams and other IT specialists in order to deliver effective
oversight of ORG's regulated entities in relation to technology matters.
The
right applicant will be a team player and adept at building relationships
within government, responding to the needs of stakeholders, being comfortable
with ambiguity and working with others to develop and drive innovative
solutions.
About
us
ORG
is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the NSW land title system. It
regulates the concession of NSW's land titles registry and oversees providers
of electronic conveyancing services in NSW.
The
Regulation, Compliance & IT team is responsible for operationalising the concession
arrangements, managing governance and reporting as well as advising on
strategic issues.
The team is also responsible for regulating ELNOs in NSW,
advising the Registrar General on the relevant legislation, operating
requirements and NSW licence conditions and working with representatives from
other States and Territories as part of this national reform.
About
you
To be successful in this role you will have
a background in technology (qualifications in IT or technology discipline
preferred).
ORG is looking for someone with excellent technology
skills, who has experience delivering complex projects, with great ideas on
effective regulatory oversight and is passionate about digital reforms.
Key Selection Criteria
* The
ability to analyse and evaluate technology systems, processes and plans
* Rigorous
project management skills, to set priorities, manage multiple stakeholders
and deliver work within set timeframes
* Working
knowledge of digital reforms or ability to acquire a working knowledge
rapidly
* Strong
communication and negotiation skills
* The
ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
