We are seeking a seasoned maintenance professional to fill the role of Service Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily service and repair tasks for our fleet of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Schedule and coordinate daily service and repair jobs
* Liaise with operations team to manage workshop bookings and breakdowns
* Create, issue and close out job cards and maintenance records
* Communicate clearly with workshop and other staff to ensure parts availability before jobs commence
* Monitor progress in the workshop and keep management updated on timelines and possible delays or issues
* Support compliance with maintenance schedules and defect reporting
* Provide high level customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Scheduler in a mechanical, transport or dealership environment
* High level communication and organisational skills
* Good mechanical understanding – knowledge of trucks would be an advantage
* Good computer skills with exposure to workshop/maintenance management systems
* Able to work in a fast paced environment and prioritise tasks
* Driver's licence
