Machine Shop Professional
Job Overview
As a machine shop professional, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. Your tasks will include fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical instruments, as well as manufacturing or adjusting components used in machine tools and industrial equipment.
* Operate machine tools and related equipment in accordance with established procedures.
* Perform routine operational tasks to support daily production activities.
* Assist with equipment maintenance and repair by preparing tools, parts, and work areas as required.
* Follow mandatory health, safety, and environmental instructions to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
* Adhere to operational and quality compliance requirements to meet internal standards and external regulatory expectations.
* Use and interpret precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and geometric tolerances.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues to support workflow and information exchange.
