About the Role
As Care Manager, you will provide strong clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day care operations of the facility. Working closely with the Facility Manager and a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will ensure residents receive the highest standard of care while fostering a team-oriented and positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support clinical staff to achieve outstanding resident outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance, aged care standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and health professionals.
- Promote continuous improvement in clinical practice and service delivery.
- Support staff education and professional development.
- Conduct audits and assessments to monitor resident wellbeing and drive quality improvements.
- Collaborate with the broader Respect Aged Care network to share expertise and strengthen outcomes.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated experience as a Care Manager or Clinical Coordinator in aged care.
- Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation, and compliance.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with aged care software (e.g., AutumnCare, LeeCare, or similar).
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining resident-focused care.
