The Role
As Communications Executive, you will support the planning and delivery of firmwide communications, working closely with partners, senior leadership and the business development team. This is a broad, hands-on role covering media relations, digital channels, internal communications, publications and thought leadership. Reporting into a highly regarded Senior Communications and Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal part in shaping how the firm's story is told across multiple audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver integrated communications strategies aligned to firm priorities and brand positioning.
Draft and distribute media releases, thought leadership and editorial content that showcases the firm's expertise.
Manage and optimise digital channels including newsletters, alumni updates, podcasts and social media.
Build strong journalist relationships and support media engagement, interviews and commentary opportunities.
Collaborate with partners and BD colleagues to produce publications, news items and client-facing communications.
Support internal communications, ensuring employees are engaged and aligned with firm strategy.
Contribute to communications around CSR, D&I; and innovation initiatives, helping to strengthen the firm's reputation.
Monitor market and competitor activity to identify opportunities for differentiation and profile building.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a communications professional who combines creativity with commerciality and can thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually stimulating environment. The successful candidate will bring:
Proven experience in corporate communications, ideally in professional services, legal, or a regulated industry.
Media relations capability, including drafting releases and managing journalist engagement.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content.
Familiarity with digital channels and content production (social, newsletters, podcasts, web).
Strong project management skills, able to balance multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
A collaborative approach, with the confidence to partner with senior stakeholders.
