It is one of the few lithium projects globally in construction today, with first production achieved in mid-2024 of schedule.About the roleLiontown is seeking an experienced Environmental Technician to join our Kathleen Valley team on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth.
This 12-month max term contract offers the potential for permanency and is a great opportunity to be part of a passionate, high-performing team driving environmental compliance and sustainability at one of Australia's most significant lithium operations.What you'll be doing:Conducting a range of environmental monitoring activities, with a key focus on groundwater management and compliance.Collecting and analysing water samples to inform assessments and reporting.Maintaining monitoring equipment, environmental databases and reporting systems.Supporting site inspections and environmental audits to ensure regulatory and internal standards are met.Assisting in the implementation of environmental management plans and contributing to environmental and heritage surveys.What you'll bring:A Diploma or Certificate in Environmental Science (or a related field).Ideally 1+ year of relevant field or site-based experience, particularly in water monitoring.A proactive attitude with strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.A genuine interest in supporting a sustainable, environmentally responsible mining operation.Current (or ability to obtain) National Police Clearance.Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.Why LiontownBy joining our team, you will be supporting the world's transition to a more sustainable future.
