We are seeking experienced Waitstaffto join our dynamic team at our premium dining venue RAFI URBNSURF in Sydney Olympic Park. About the venue Located within the iconic Sydney Olympic Park,RAFI UrbnSurfoffers a unique space within Sydney's first ever surf park. Blending the opulence of a hatted restaurant with the laid back vibes of a coastal beach town. You will have the opportunity to work across unique events, share a unique culinary journey with guests or grab a coffee and watch the surf! About the role As Head Waitstaff, you will provide high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional customer experiences in line with our company standards. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a section of the restaurant floor, ensuring smooth service and high standards are maintained.
* Greet, seat, and engage with guests, providing professional and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
* Take and coordinate food and beverage orders, with detailed knowledge of menus, daily specials, and wine pairings.
* Oversee and support junior wait staff, providing training, guidance, and feedback.
* Manage table allocations, coordinate with the kitchen and bar teams, and ensure efficient service delivery.
* Respond to and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, hygiene, and RSA requirements.
* Contribute to maintaining service standards and supporting overall restaurant operations.
Skills and Experience To be considered, you must have:
* A minimum of two years' relevant experience in a comparable restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail service.
* Ability to work under pressure and handle high-volume service periods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
* A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.
Salary and Conditions This is a full-time position with an annual salary of $80,000 Grade 4+ plus superannuation, in accordance with industry standards. Weekend and evening work will be required. Benefits & Rewards;
