Format Homes are now looking for a Selections Consultant to join their team and guide clients through one of the most exciting stages of their build.
About the Role
As a Selections Consultant, you'll be the key point of contact for clients as they make design and product selections for their new home. You'll share in their excitement, guide them with confidence, and help them feel supported and assured as they make choices for one of the most significant investments of their lives. This role suits someone with an appreciation for good design and finishes, strong organisational skills, and confidence working with clients. You don't need to be a qualified designer, but you do need product knowledge, and an eye for what works well together.
You'll work closely with clients, suppliers, estimating, and the internal construction team to ensure selections are clearly documented, accurately priced, and seamlessly transitioned into construction.
Key Responsibilities
· Guide clients through design and product selections for their home
· Provide practical advice on finishes, layouts, and upgrades
· Prepare and send selection packs to clients and answer selection related queries
· Book and coordinate client appointments with suppliers
· Receive, gather, and track all selection paperwork as it is returned
· Conduct final client selection appointments and confirm all specifications
· Mark up plans and documentation to reflect final selections
· Liaise with the Estimating team to adjust pricing for upgrades and variations
· Ensure all selection information is accurate, complete, and ready for construction

· Appreciation for good design and well considered interiors
· Strong organisation and attention to detail
· Confident communicator with a client focused approach
· Comfortable managing multiple clients and deadlines
· Some product or construction knowledge is highly regarded
· Able to work collaboratively across teams
· Proactive, reliable, and solutions focused
