The Events Logistics Supervisor position is a hands-on role that assists in the effective running of the logistics team in our Event Centre. You will provide engaging and high-quality guest service and coordinate team members to maintain the service flow and performance standards of the outlet. You should be comfortable operating equipment and performing physical tasks such as unloading stock or equipment.
A few of your responsibilities:
* Report all faults, repairs and maintenance requirements in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to the business
* Supervise the Logistics team members and assist the Management team with training and development
* Ensure an open line of communication at all times through daily shift briefings, and ensure a smooth transition and handover between shifts
* Encourage a positive working relationship between Food and Beverage outlets and other departments within the company
What we will be looking for
* Previous experience in a supervisory role
* Demonstrated ability in developing productive workplace relationships
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Accreditation in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

You will have previous experience in leading a team, preferably with proven experience in events or logistics. Your leadership and communication skills enable you to create a positive working relationship between departments. You are a problem-solver with a commitment to developing your team and thriving in events.
