Job Role: Competitions Coordinator
The coordinator plays a key role in managing and overseeing various competitions, events, and programs to ensure their smooth operation. They will work closely with team members and volunteers to coordinate logistics, manage rosters, provide administrative support, and handle other related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise evening netball competitions, including setup, scorekeeping, time management, liaison with officials, and handling on-court issues to ensure safety and compliance.
* Coordinate volunteer and official rosters, liaise with staff, monitor attendance, and prepare remuneration records.
* Support the canteen operations during winter competition by managing stock, coordinating suppliers, and scheduling volunteer rosters.
* Help plan coaching clinics, including venue management, registration coordination, communication with coaches, and providing on-site support as needed.
* Provide general administrative support by producing newsletters, assisting with club events, coordinating volunteer schedules for functions and fundraisers, and supporting committee requirements.
This flexible role requires approximately 10-20 hours per week, varying depending on season, competition rounds, and event schedules. Evening work is required on Mondays and Thursdays.
