We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in Adelaide and surrounding suburbs, working with diverse clients including aged, disability, and high needs individuals.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will assist clients with activities of daily living, provide domestic assistance, social support, and personal care services at their home and in the community.

Travel is required, so you must have a full driver's license and reliable vehicle. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports clients in various surrounding suburbs of Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities

* Promote Client Choice and positive routines, ensuring activities are meaningful to clients as per Calvary Home Care's Service Delivery Model.
* Work shifts in set time blocks/pattern rostering and drive client/company vehicles when required.
* Take proactive steps to support clients in enhancing their life choices both at home and in the community.
* Report changes in client health, care plans, or additional services needed, and maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and activities across Calvary.
* Maintain client dignity and confidentiality by taking reasonable care of your own health and safety, as well as others within the workplace.

About You

* Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability, or Individual Support (desirable).
* Current and valid full Driver's Licence, insured, reliable motor vehicle, and smart mobile phone.
* NDIS Clearance and Police Clearance (obtained within 6 months).
* Effective verbal and written communication skills, customer service orientation, and ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Proficiency in technology such as smartphones, email, and internet, and a desire to join a mission-based organization committed to caring for others.
