Lead the charge in sustainable aquaculture as a seasoned leader with expertise in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).
* Key Responsibilities:
* Drive freshwater site performance with a focus on fish health, welfare, and growth.
* Set operational goals, KPI's, and capital allocation to drive business success.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to proactively identify and address challenges.
* Provide technical leadership on freshwater strategy and systems performance.
* Develop site managers and succession plans through coaching, mentoring, and leadership.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, regulatory, and safety obligations.
* Represent the organization in industry forums, committees, and regulatory engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Tertiary qualifications in Science, Aquaculture, and Business or equivalent experience.
* Proven experience and technical expertise in Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).
* Demonstrated leadership in complex, large-scale operations.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving capabilities.
* Commercial mindset with a hands-on pragmatic approach.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
