Senior Portfolio Manager Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced portfolio manager to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing banking services, delivering consistent and dedicated coverage across the network.
This role gives you a great opportunity to broaden your corporate banking experience with a large internationally focused portfolio. You will work across commercial banking products as well as financial crime and credit risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipating customer needs and providing superior quality service.
* Deliver a high quality service by owning customer engagement, striving for excellence in all interactions with customers or other professionals, and acting according to the highest professional standards.
* Establish a close working relationship with the Compliance team and effectively manage AML risks.
* Onboard new facility clients and conduct annual reviews to ensure credit risks are effectively managed.
* Grow sustainable revenues from the existing customer portfolio and through targeted onboarding of new customers.
Requirements:
* Current experience in a customer facing role, ideally in corporate and institutional banking, dedicated to providing superior customer service to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
* Strong analytical skills with a strong commercial orientation and experience writing credit papers and conducting financial analysis.
* Portfolio management experience with the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders through excellent written and verbal communication skills and confident interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of customer due diligence processes.
* Attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously without supervision.
* A tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or a relevant discipline.
