Job Title: Strategic Talent Development Specialist

This role plays a key part in shaping our company culture and driving employee engagement. You will work closely with various teams to identify, attract, and retain top talent. Your expertise will be crucial in developing and leading contemporary HR practices, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives, Employee Value Proposition, and total rewards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead contemporary HR practices, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
* Partner with senior leaders to drive the overarching People Strategy, fortifying organisational design, change management, talent management, and employee engagement.
* Drive team engagement by developing action plans and day-to-day employee experiences for client groups, working in partnership with leaders on team needs.
* Foster growth and learning by designing tailored learning pathways, facilitating career advancement opportunities, and providing coaching.
* Guide employees with empathy and expertise, handling employee relations with care, and assisting with performance oversight, policy reviews, and contract clarification.
* Support remuneration strategy development, ensuring fair compensation packages that reflect market-driven data and support team commitment.
* Collaborate with HR allies to roll out recurring initiatives, such as performance appraisals, remuneration revisions, engagement pulse checks, and reporting.
* Lead recruitment efforts, from understanding job specifications to mastering the art of closing deals with top talent.
* Curate talent pipelines by crafting and executing robust sourcing strategies to engage with the best and brightest in the industry.
Our Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an experienced HR professional with a minimum of 5 years in progressive roles, preferably from a Tech Startup (SaaS) or Logistics background. An undergraduate degree in Psychology, Business, Human Resources, or a related field is essential. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable proficiency in organisational design, change management, performance, L&D initiatives, total rewards, and Australian employment law. They should also possess hands-on familiarity with ATS, HRIS, and HR platforms, ideally CultureAmp and BambooHR, along with adaptability, relationship-building skills, analytical prowess, and ability to extract actionable insights from data.
