What you'll be doing
- Domestic duties to maintain a comfortable living environment.
- Social support and transport for appointments and activities.
- Personal care to promote well-being and independence.
- Supporting clients in doing what they love and maintaining their interests.
- Monitoring the health of older people and promptly reporting any changes to ensure their safety.
What you need to be successful in this position:
- Minimum qualification of Certificate 3 in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing).
- Passion for providing compassionate care and promoting independence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliability, patience, and adaptability to meet diverse needs.
- Full Driver's Licence and reliable registered vehicle.
- Current Police Clearance (less than 6 months) and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- It is recommended that you will have 2 COVID Vaccinations and an up-to-date Flu vaccination
