Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and committed professional to provide high-quality trauma-informed clinical practice to victim-survivors of sexual assault and children and young people with harmful sexual behaviour.
The successful applicant will join our team in Launceston, delivering therapeutic face-to-face counselling and community education programs across North and North West Tasmania.

* Provide trauma-informed clinical practice to victim-survivors of sexual assault and children and young people with harmful sexual behaviour.
* Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
* Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records and reporting as required.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
* Providing high-quality trauma-informed clinical practice to victim-survivors of sexual assault and children and young people with harmful sexual behaviour.
* Developing and implementing treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
* Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree in counselling, social work, psychology, or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the impacts and dynamics of sexual assault and experience in trauma-informed counselling.
* Experience working with diverse communities or lived experience of diversity.
* Ability to quickly acquire a working knowledge of Tasmanian legislation and policies pertaining to sexual assault, child protection and family violence.
