We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painting Supervisor to lead our residential painting projects.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to oversee and coordinate painting activities on residential construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute painting tasks accurately.
* Lead a team of painters, labourers, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Coordinate with project managers to schedule work, allocate resources, and meet project deadlines.
* Provide hands-on painting expertise, including surface preparation, application of paints and finishes, and wallpapering as needed.
* Train and mentor junior painters and apprentices to foster their skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
* Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
* Oversee the procurement of materials and tools required for painting work, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
* Conduct regular inspections of work sites to identify hazards, maintain cleanliness, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
