Having recently been awarded an exciting new project with Anglo American, servicing multiple villages throughout Central QLD, we are currently looking for a Commercial Manager.
**The Position**
You will provide commercial support to the Offshore Remote sector of our business, specifically on our Anglo-American Project. This involves end of month and management reporting, contractual compliance & reviews, and financial analysis of portfolios. This is an opportunity to play a key role in consistently delivering and exceeding our client expectations.
- Accurate & timely month end closing processes
- Partnering with key internal stakeholders to enhance financial performance
- Preparation of detailed budgets and forecasts
- Contract Compliance: Preparation of price escalations and contract variations
- Actual versus project performance reviews against contract
- End to end commercial responsibility of the project
- Assisting with bid modelling and projects retention
- Identifying and implementing streamlined processes
**The Person**
- Accounting degree qualified and CA / CPA
- 5+ years previous commercial accounting experience
- A high level of technical and analytical skills
- Ability to problem solve, prioritise and multi-task
- Advanced Microsoft excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to comfortably communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Experience in financial modelling and commercial reviews
