We're seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping high-profile projects from concept to completion
About the Role
As an Electrical Estimator, you'll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for electrical and instrumentation works across our portfolio of mining and infrastructure projects. You'll collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to scope, cost, and deliver bids that reflect Adenco's technical excellence and safety-first approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical installations, control systems, and instrumentation
* Interpret drawings, specifications, and scope documents to prepare BOQs and pricing
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive quotes and lead times
* Support bid submissions, client presentations, and contract negotiations
* Maintain and improve internal cost databases and estimation tools
* Contribute to project planning and risk assessment processes
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in electrical estimating within mining, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
* Strong understanding of Australian standards, site compliance, and mine-spec requirements
* Proficiency in estimation software (e.g. Expert Estimator, SimPRO, or similar)
* Excellent attention to detail, commercial acumen, and stakeholder communication skills
* Trade or engineering qualifications in electrical or instrumentation (preferred
