**Retail Food & Beverage Attendant - Casual**:
**The Retail Catering Department of the Catering Services team at Optus Stadium aims to deliver a world-class hospitality experience to patrons enjoying any of the General Admission hospitality offerings while attending various events.**

**The Retail team welcomes patrons across all areas accessible to the general public, providing a vast array of high-quality food and beverage options for people to choose from. Displaying first-class skills, team members provide top-quality customer service with a fast and efficient approach and excellent food & beverage service promptly. They will always adhere to Stadium Liquor Licensing principles while maintaining a Fans First approach.**

**At times, they will be required to work in other business areas, using their skill set to deliver the same standard of service across all Catering Services departments.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**All Retail Staff**
- Deliver customer service to all visitors to Optus Stadium in line with the Fans First philosophy.
- Wear the Optus Stadium uniform with pride and follow uniform and grooming guidelines.
- Participate in Emergency Management preparedness as required based on delegating the role and position performed each shift.
- Communicate with HR & Talent Operations about availability, rostering and training.
- General cleaning, set up, pack down and movement of stock and assets as required.
- Greet patrons with enthusiasm at Retail service points in outlets.
- Efficiently prepare and serve a range of food & beverages that meet the quality standard VenuesLive upholds.
- Properly handle and maintain all food & beverage equipment using safe work practices, SOP and sign-off.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of menu offerings.
- Demonstrate an efficient skill set when preparing food and beverage products.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card payments, following appropriate cash-handling procedures.
- Identification of risks/hazards and escalation to duty manager as required.
- Respond to customer queries and escalate to senior team members as required.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and adhere to Food Safety Standards and plans, including effectively managing food allergies.
- Demonstrate understanding of and adhere to Liquor Licensing and RSA standards, policies and procedures.
- Identify risks/hazards and escalate to senior team members as required.

**Grade 2 - Retail Food & Beverage Attendants - reports to **_Team Leader (if applicable) / Supervisor / Duty Manager / Retail Management Team / and Catering Services Management_**
- Respond to customer communication and escalate to Team Leader/ Duty Manager as required
- Outlet and operations set up and pack down
- General food outlet operations - set up, safe and hygienic service, pack down
- Food production in line with Retail Production Guides
- Knowledge of kitchen operations
- Knowledge of dietary requirements and how to facilitate requests safely
- General Retail bar operations - set up, pack down and service of beer, wine and spirits
- Stock management such as restocking, rotation and transfer
- POS knowledge for dedicated areas Endeavour to upsell products when opportunity provides
