Discovery Bay Tourism Precinct Ltd, incorporating Albany's Historic Whaling Station, Australian Wildlife Park and Regional Wildflower Garden, seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Wildlife Park Team Leader.

What You'll Do:
1. Animal Husbandry: Ensure the well-being of our animals through comprehensive training and hands-on care.
2. Grounds Keeping: Maintain a clean and safe environment for both animals, visitors & team members.
3. Customer Service: Engage visitors, lead interactive activities, and provide information about our amazing creatures. Be prepared to learn and share your knowledge.
4. Staff Training & Mentorship: Assist in leading a small team, ensuring training, motivation and team spirit is provided.
5. Animal Welfare: Monitor health of animals, assist in review of diets and breeding plans, liaise with relevant institutions.
Requirements:
* Understand the importance of a Safe work environment, following WHS & OHS.
* Flexible schedule: Be available for weekdays, weekends, holidays, and school breaks.
* Permanent Part-time
* Shifts typically run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm- 7 Days a week
* Holiday availability required for peak periods.
* Qualifications and/or relevant experience with wildlife essential.
* Applicants with experience leading a team are highly regarded.
