We are currently recruiting a P&C; Officer working full time in a 12 month fixed term position. The position will be based at our support office in Melbourne, however you will have the option to work remotely. This position directly supports our purpose and ensures our members can count on us by delivering best practice people services that foster alignment, engagement, culture, and performance. This role delivers people administration support for the end-to-end employee lifecycle and is central to the smooth and efficient delivery of P&C; services - a busy and exciting role that makes a real difference to our people. This opportunity is also open to new P&C; graduates looking to progress their P&C; career.
**Description**:
**This position is accountable for**:
Contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of P&C; services by providing general P&C; administrative assistance regarding (but not limited to):
Responding to day-to-day enquiries
Payroll processing (including learning how to process the fortnightly pay & be 'payroll back-up')
Preparation of correspondence
Employee changes and maintenance of employee files
Timely and accurate coordination of P&C; systems and processes (including contracts, movements, onboarding and offboarding processes)
Updating and supporting the development of P&C; documentation, policies & procedures, and maintenance of resources (i.e. Intranet, P&C; forms, Org charts etc.)
Providing support to the L&D; and Recruitment teams
Assisting with calls and management & triage of all enquiries directed to the People & Capability team
Support basic general HR Policy and process queries as they relate to the employee lifecycle
Supporting the P&C; team (including the Head of People & Capability and Chief People Officer) with regular & cyclical people activities.

**What you will bring**:
You're passionate about all things people. People administration is a strength and you're comfortable rolling your sleeves to get the job done. You can step into all facets of HR as needed with the relevant support.
**You have**:
- Ideally, prior experience working in People & Culture
- Exposure to providing support to Recruitment, L&D; and/or Payroll teams will be highly regarded
- Tertiary Qualifications in human resources (desired but not mandatory).
**Demonstrated experience or skills in**:
- Aspects of the employee lifecycle
- Problem solving, and trouble shooting
- Challenging the status quo
- Communication (both written and verbal)
- Picking up new concepts/systems quickly
- Supporting project delivery.
