Financial Operations Specialist
The role of a Financial Operations Specialist plays a pivotal part in the Corporate Finance function of our organization. This entails preparing annual financial statements, submitting group reports to our parent entity each month, and performing ad-hoc accounting/project work.
This is a business-critical position that ensures the integrity of our financial results aligns with IFRS at all levels of reporting. You will also have exposure to senior management within Finance internationally and collaborate with internal and external auditors.
* Provide valuable insights to Shareholders, Executives, and other stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
* Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and presentation enables common understanding among account holders.
* Develop and refine reporting platforms and methods.
* Meet external reporting requirements, including ABS, government reporting, and group reporting.
* Oversee the annual insurance renewal process for all insurance policies.
* Assist in managing the annual external audit process across the group, encompassing planning, accounts, audit, board papers, and lodgment obligations.
