About the Opportunity
This growing firm is seeking a manager to take over a retiring partner's fee base with a view to partnership in 18‑24 months. The multi‑office firm is located 1.5 hours away from Bendigo and you would have 4 days WFH every week.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of clients with a focus on agricultural clients
* Oversee tax compliance and planning for individuals, SMEs and client groups
* Provide strategic financial advice to clients around transitioning wealth
* Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals
* Contribute to the firm's growth and business development initiatives
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* 8+ years of experience working in an Australian accounting firm
* CA or CPA qualifications
* Strong advisory skills and a proven track record in providing value‑added services
* Extensive knowledge of primary production accounting and reporting
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A proactive approach to client relationships and business development
