Our client is seeking two motivated professionals to join a First Nations Health team working to improve the safety and quality of care for First Nations peoples across Australia.
About the roles:
APS6
In this role, you'll work on a variety of projects aimed at strengthening cultural safety in healthcare. You'll engage with a wide range of First Nations stakeholders and communities, provide high-quality analysis and advice and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive meaningful change.
* Undertaking research, analysis and preparing reports and briefing materials
* Assisting with procurement, contract management, budget preparation and invoicing
* Drafting and collating meeting papers, submissions, correspondence and briefing notes
* Providing secretariat support for meetings and workshops
* Supporting consultation and engagement with First Nations stakeholders
EL1
This position will see you lead and manage projects that strengthen cultural safety in healthcare.
* Overseeing end-to-end delivery of complex projects
* Providing high-level policy advice and reports to senior executives
* Leading stakeholder engagement across government, community and sector organisations
* Managing contracts, procurement and budgets
* Guiding and mentoring team members
What we're looking for:
For both roles, you will bring:
* Experience building relationships with First Nations stakeholders in government, community or private sectors
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and influence
* Experience in strategy or policy development (healthcare experience highly regarded however not essential)
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects, priorities and deadlines effectively
* Sound problem-solving skills and a collaborative working style
* For the EL1 role, you'll also bring demonstrated leadership skills, experience delivering complex programs and the ability to provide high-level advice
