Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance of our operational fleet.
About the Role:
* This role is responsible for ensuring the fleet is properly maintained to support the delivery of waste removal and cleansing services across the community.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide regular maintenance, servicing, and repairs to the operational fleet in a dynamic environment.
2. Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, components, electrical, and fuel systems, as well as perform tune-ups and brake jobs.
3. Clean and maintain the vehicles and follow all plant maintenance and reporting procedures.
4. Maintain and update asset service documentation.
5. Minimise running costs by undertaking preventative maintenance work.
6. Source parts and external service contractors as required.
7. Attend offsite vehicle/plant breakdowns as needed.
8. Maintain the mechanic workshop in a clean and safe condition.
Key Requirements:
* Trade qualifications and experience in service and maintenance of heavy plant and equipment, passenger vehicles, and small plant and equipment.
* Ability to organise workloads to achieve objectives.
* Experienced in operating specialised machinery such as milling machines and lathes.
* Competent in welding with mig and arc welders.
* Current drivers and HR truck licenses (required), Front End Loader, Forklift Licence (Desirable).
