The Role
This role offers a great blend of core accounting work and process improvement. You'll support financial operations while contributing to system refinement and organisational efficiency.
You will:
* Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
* Complete month‐end tasks, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and balance sheet work.
* Prepare accurate financial reports, analysis, and variance reviews to support internal decision‐making.
* Maintain documentation, compliance, and accurate financial records. Assist with system and process improvements, contributing to smoother workflows and operational efficiency.
* Support the ongoing transition to updated systems and platforms, ensuring financial processes remain aligned.
* Work collaboratively within a tight‐knit finance team, supporting shared goals and continuous improvement.
About You
You're confident, analytical and collaborative, and you enjoy making processes smoother and more efficient.
You will bring:
* 3–4+ years accounting experience
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Solid Excel and financial systems knowledge
* Experience across AR/AP, reporting, month‐end, variances
* A proactive mindset and willingness to support others
* Interest in the potential of stepping into a future leadership role
* Experience in aged care or retirement living welcomed but not required
* CPA qualification ideal but not required
