Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre - Food and Beverage Attendant
We're preparing to open the doors to our brand new Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre. An exciting space designed to bring people together through creativity, innovation, and unforgettable experiences. As we gear up for opening day, we're looking for enthusiastic and reliable casual team members to help us support test events and form the new Food and Beverage team. Set to open in July 2026 on the Geelong Waterfront, Nyaal Banyul will be Australia's newest convention and event centre. Operated by the Victorian Convention and Event Trust (VCET), this premier venue features a 1,000-seat theatre and 3,700 square meters of versatile event space, ready to host everything from community gatherings to major conferences and entertainment events.

What you're here to do
* Undertake general service duties of both food and/or beverages, taking customer orders, servicing food and/or beverages and clearing tables, under general supervision greeting and seating.
* Supplying, dispensing or mixing of liquor, including maintenance of the bar and cellar areas and equipment, preparing the bar for service, taking orders and serving drinks;
* Handling, storing and distributing goods in accordance with HACCP procedures
* Selling of goods;
* Receipt of monies, operation of cash registers, use of electronic input devices;
* Serving from a snack bar, buffet, kiosk, cafe or other food outlet;
* Heating and assembling of prepared meals, preparing simple food items such as but not limited to fast food items, salads and toasted food stuffs;
* The movement and assembling of furniture, dance floors and installations; the general setting and dismantling of room setups, preparing tables and side boards,
