We're looking for a Web Administrator to manage, maintain, and improve our web environments while supporting security, performance, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, administer and maintain company and client websites, portals, and web applications
* Monitor website performance, uptime, backups, and security controls to ensure reliable and secure operation.
* Configure web servers, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, and hosting services
* Assess and determine software and infrastructure requirements, implement updates, patches, install and configure software, and content changes in collaboration with the team in line with user needs
* Troubleshoot technical issues related to web functionality, software, infrastructure, and integrations
* Support cyber security best practices across web platforms and digital solutions.
* Work with developers and stakeholders to deploy new features and adapt existing platforms to meet user requirements.
* Maintain documentation and operational procedures to ensure continuity and compliance.
* Assist with implementing and maintaining network configurations supporting web applications
Skills & Qualifications Experience
Essential
* Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Web Administrator or in related field
* AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2)
* Experience in website administration and hosting environments, IT support, or related roles
* Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, custom CMS, or similar)
* Understanding of DNS, domains, SSL, and web security principles
* Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and web technologies
* Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and implement solutions
* Ability to apply security best practices to web platforms and hosting
* Strong communication and documentation skills
* Knowledge or understanding of cyber security frameworks including:
* o NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF)
* o ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems
* o Australian Essential Eight maturity model
Desirable
* Interest in cyber security and secure web practices
* Experience with hosting or cloud platforms
* Familiarity with SEO, analytics, and performance optimisation
* Basic scripting or automation skills
