We are currently recruiting for a Crane Operations Supervisor to join our client in supporting the SEJV Line 2 Interconnector project from Buronga to Wagga Wagga.
This is a unique opportunity to oversee crane operations, ensure safety compliance, and resolve logistical challenges in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and coordinate crane operations for the SEJV Line 2 Interconnector project, overseeing a fleet of 14 cranes.
2. Collaborate with the manager and second supervisor to maintain operational efficiency.
3. Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
4. Prioritise the safety and well-being of all employees and customer workforce, implementing best practices for risk mitigation.
5. Utilise camp accommodation as needed, with approximately 3-4 nights per week required as the project progresses eastward.
Personal Skills and Attributes:
* A background in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), with the ability to enforce safety protocols and mitigate risks effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of resolving logistical challenges and adapting to changing project demands.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
* Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and overnight stays as required.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel where required.
