Your new role
As a Credit Pre‑Assessor, you will support the early stages of the lending lifecycle by completing administrative and quality checks before files are submitted to formal credit assessment.
Your role will include but not be limited to:
* Conducting documentation checks including KYC, ID verification, payslips, financials, and valuations.
* Identifying missing or incomplete documentation and proactively contacting stakeholders if required.
* Completing title searches and validating customer and security information.
* Managing a daily workflow of files, with an average processing time of 30-45 minutes per file.
* Ensuring information is accurately captured in core banking systems and in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* Adhering to internal risk, compliance, and quality frameworks as part of the first line of defence.
The Details
* Location: 700 Bourke Street (MEL) OR 3 Paramatta Square (SYD)
* Duration: 12-month temporary contact
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, business hours 8.30pm - 5pm
* Hybrid: After 12 weeks full time in office, and then hybrid 3 days from office and 2 days from home.
* Remuneration: $40.56ph+super
* Start date: 23rd March 2026
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous banking experience
* Some exposure to credit or lending processes is highly desirable
* Proven time management and organisational skills
* A positive attitude, strong work ethic & team collaboration, and professional behaviour
