Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health services within a catchment area stretching more than 3300 square kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), in partnership with the NUM, is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care within their speciality. The CNS supports the NUM by supervising the delivery of quality patient care, through developing standards of practice, implementing changes to clinical practice, education of staff and initiating research and quality improvement activities. The CNS is responsible for the provision of women's mental health expertise. As a senior nurse, you will have professional accountability to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery and provide mentorship and role modelling for nurses and contribute to the advancement of the profession, in keeping with the vision and values for South Metropolitan Mental Health Service.
