This is an exciting opportunity to the join the fleet team within a well-established Group.
**The role will undertake learning and development plus active involvement in**:
- Identifying and prospecting new business/fleet opportunities
- Maintaining current business/fleet opportunities
- Carrying out vehicle quoting and pricing
- Building the sales pipeline for new clients through networks and generating leads;
- Conducting sales presentations to key decision makers
- Maintaining strategic relationships with key accounts
- Delivery and hand over of vehicles to customers
- Being a vital part of the team and be responsible in assisting and delivering in aspects of the new vehicle administration and delivery process from arrival of the vehicle to delivery to the customer.
- sales activities to grow the Fleet business within our chosen fleet markets.
You will be the right-hand person to the Fleet Manager and Fleet Account Managers assisting them and learning the required skills and attributes to the point where you will be ready to establish and execute plans and strategies within the existing customer base and contribute to the development and growth of our business in a future role as a Fleet Account Manager.
**As you progress through your traineeship other key responsibilities will involve**:
- Initiating and maintaining relationships with Fleet and Retail customers
- Promoting the full range of our new vehicle product range and brands
- Demonstrating thorough product knowledge
- Demonstrating exceptional customer service
- Accurately logging sales activities and data
- Liaise with dedicated administrative support & stock control staff
- Generating sales and converting leads
- Delivering sold vehicles personally and exceeding the customers' expectations
**The successful applicant must have**:
- Current full driver's license
- Willingness to learn
- A strong customer centric focus
- A friendly and self-motivated "Can Do" personality along with excellent presentation
- Ability to drive manual vehicles - passenger and commercial - preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work towards meeting sales targets
- Strong organisational skills
- Automotive sales experience preferred - not necessary
- Intermediate computer skill
