Supervisor Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to provide reflective practice supervision to a team of Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners (FDRPs). The successful candidate will also hold a caseload and provide FDRP services, working compassionately and respectfully with families.
* The role involves providing alternatives to formal legal processes for families who want to improve their family relationships, prevent separation, and facilitate parents to make arrangements in the best interests of their children after separation.
* You will assist families with parenting and property matters and be capable of working with families with complex needs, including those with family violence issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide reflective practice individual and group supervision to the team of FDRPs.
2. Hold a caseload and provide a FDRP service.
3. Work with families to provide alternatives to formal legal processes.
4. Assist families with parenting and property matters.
5. Be capable of working with families with complex needs, including those with family violence issues.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or above in psychology, counselling, social work or other related field.
* Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.
* Knowledge and experience in Family Dispute Resolution, Property Mediation, counselling and Child Inclusive Practice.
* Knowledge of the effects of trauma and domestic violence on families, children and young people.
* Previous counselling experience with individuals, couples and families.
