Overview
The team is responsible for the frontline delivery of Australian Government-funded skills and employment programs, as well as place-based strategies that help ensure employers have access to skilled workers.
About the role
The role, reporting to the Director involves leading a team of staff to develop and implement labour market strategies, monitor and managing contract performance, and represent the Department and engage with external stakeholders including employers, state government agencies, local councils, non-government organisations and contracted employment providers, to collaboratively advance the department's business activities.
