Job Title: Inventory & Warehouse Specialist - Detail-Driven


A leading food processing company is seeking a Storeperson & Inventory Clerk in Rockhampton. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with inventory management, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.


The primary responsibilities of this role include maintaining stock control and supporting warehouse operations. This requires effective organizational skills, accurate record keeping, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.


To be successful in this position, you should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Experience with inventory management software would be an asset in this role.

Key Responsibilities:



* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels and movements

* Ensuring efficient stockroom organization and inventory management systems

* Collaborating with warehouse staff to achieve smooth and efficient warehouse operations

* Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders

* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed




Required Skills and Qualifications:



* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

* At least 1 year of experience in inventory management or a related field

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

* Experience with inventory management software (e.g., TradeGecko, Zoho Inventory)
