We have an exciting chance at nbn, as the Senior Solution Engineer, reporting to the Senior Manager.
A bit about your role The Senior Solution Engineer, part of nbn's SEO Transit Chapter and Agile Delivery Team, is responsible for designing and delivering new network capabilities to support business objectives.
This role involves breaking down engineering work into user stories, creating high-quality designs and configurations, and performing development and integration testing.
The engineer supports deployments, operational handovers, and production stability while collaborating closely with Product Owners ,Architects, Production Engineers and Iteration Managers.
Key accountabilities include contributing to PI planning, maintaining design standards, engaging with Technology Communities of Practice, and ensuring timely delivery of network enhancements aligned with solution architecture and engineering standards.
A bit about you The ideal candidate demonstrates solid technical leadership and stakeholder management skills, with deep knowledge of end-to-end telecommunication network solutions and expertise in domains such as Aggregation, EAN, ANE, AAS, SCN, BNTD, NCN, SEM, EPNM,NCN and Optima systems.
They are experienced in designing, configuring, testing, and deploying network technologies, developing high-level designs, and ensuring quality deliverables.
The role requires excellent communication, scope management, and collaboration with internal teams and third-party partners, leading daily stand-ups, check-ins, and pre-delivery reviews to align on progress and deliverables.
Additional competencies include technical documentation, presenting solution designs to varied audiences, engaging stakeholders to achieve consensus, and applying safety standards in telecommunications environments.
