About the role: Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, some of your duties for the role will include: Participate in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experience, and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience Act as a resource person within an area based on knowledge, experience and skills Oversee the provision of nursing/midwifery care within a team/unit Assists and supports the Nurse Unit Manager or equivalent in management, clinical, and education activities Provide proficient, person centred, clinical nursing care and/or individual case management to patients/clients in a defined clinical area About you: Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience Essential requirements need to include dialysis experience, proficient in dialysis patient management Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the healthcare setting Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards Have held a clinical portfolio Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
