As our new Category Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and managing a portfolio of strategic Trade Partners, helping us deliver quality projects, drive innovation, and build long‐term industry partnerships.
What You'll Do:
* Develop and execute strategies for your portfolio of Trade Partners to ensure alignment with upcoming projects.
* Lead master contract negotiations covering core terms and conditions.
* Oversee performance management across projects, with a focus on safety, quality, financials, capability, and capacity.
* Act as the escalation point for Trade Partner issues, driving resolution and continuous improvement.
* Build strong, long‐term relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Support the evolution of our Trade Partner Engagement Framework, including policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
* Contribute to risk management, compliance, and business continuity planning.
Who You Are:
* Self‐starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
* Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, evolving environment.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in vendor management, procurement, or commercial roles – ideally with major contractors or in large‐scale construction environments.
* Proven ability to develop and execute portfolio strategies, negotiate complex contracts, and manage supplier performance.
* Strong supply chain knowledge and established industry networks.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, Construction, or related fields are highly regarded.
