Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving category growth across all customers by effectively executing customer plans and ensuring compliance to company standards.
* Territory Management & Execution:
o Own and manage a diverse customer territory to deliver growth through flawless execution of customer plans and journey compliance, analyzing sales data to inform key decisions.
* Relationship Building & Influence:
o Build strong relationships with store and grocery managers to drive inventory levels, secure compliance to paid displays, and unlock incremental display opportunities using data-driven insights.
* Commercial & Promotional Excellence:
o Lead the sell-in of new product development (NPD) and promotional plans, ensuring in-store standards like planograms are met and store teams are well-informed and engaged.
* Business Development & Strategy Delivery:
o Drive new business opportunities across channels while executing the commercial calendar and channel strategy to meet both short- and long-term objectives.
* Data-Driven Selling & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Use store scan data and business reviews to identify growth opportunities, measure activity effectiveness, and engage key internal and external stakeholders to amplify execution across multiple sites.
Requirements
* Understand all elements of the customer supply chain to influence On Shelf Availability.
* Able to identify in-store sales growth opportunities against key objectives and put a plan in place to improve in-store execution.
* Able to understand, interpret and use category facts in all aspects of customer interaction.
* Able to have a natural selling conversation with the customer that results in them taking action.
* Able to plan for and anticipate customer objections and resolve using negotiation techniques in the sales presentation.
* Able to use retail maths within a selling situation or conversation with retailer.
